Overall Purpose of RoleThis position requires relocation to Qatar for a 1-year contract.The Nurse Practitioner will utilize expertise to diagnose, mitigate, and treat injuries and illnesses in a hospital setting. We are looking for candidates with a commitment to a proactive approach to workplace safety while taking a diplomatic and professional approach to customer interactions.Key Responsibilities Attends and participates in a variety of meetings and task force groups to improve quality and outcomes, and communication of issues. Ensures proper injury care and disease diagnosis, treatment and follow up visits: refers patients to specialists as necessary. Stabilize, evaluate and treat urgent and emergency care patients. Other duties as assignedParticipates in MASCAL drills and events.QualificationsExperience Required: Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (NP). Primary Care medicine experience.Education/Certification RequiredEmergency and urgent care experience highly preferred Current and unrestricted license from any US State, District of Columbia or US Territory to provide healthcare within scope of practice. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification. American Heart Association - Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certification is preferred. DEA License.Physical Requirements Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time. May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 15 lbs.Other Special Qualifications Ability to obtain and maintain a clearance to drive company vehicles Must be able to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate This position is unaccompanied. US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required. Ability to obtain a DoS clearance if one is required. Must be able to relocate to Qatar. A valid passport is required and must be in your possession prior to relocation.
