Job Description

Role Overview:

The Marketing & Events Coordinator will play a key role in enhancing Digital Cotton’s projects online presence and engagement. This part-time, output-based (20 hours per week)

role involves creating and managing a content calendar to promote our workshops, designing eye-catching posts, writing engaging captions, and attending workshops to capture photos and videos for promotional use. The ideal candidate will also work to grow and engage our audience on platforms like Facebook and Instagram. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive content calendar to promote Al Heba Training's workshops and training programs.
  • Design visually appealing and professional social media posts that align with our brand's identity.
  • Write compelling captions and content for social media posts that effectively communicate the value of our workshops.
  • Organize workshops with partners or at independent venues, including minimal event management tasks such as coordinating logistics, ensuring smooth execution, and handling on-site needs.
  • Attend a few of our workshops to capture photos and videos for promotional content.
  • Engage with followers and respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner.
  • Propose and implement strategies to grow and increase the number of page likes and followers on Instagram and Facebook.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in social media marketing.
  • Submit a weekly progress report on the growth and engagement metrics of social media platforms, including followers, likes, and overall performance.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to create engaging content.
  • Photography and videography skills to capture high-quality visual content.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
