Join us.Team Introduction: The Global Revenue Management team is part of the ByteDance Finance function that is responsible for revenue management and accounting for monetization of all ByteDance products via the following processes: running the Order to Cash ("OTC") cycle, establishing and integrating business-finance platforms together and revenue accounting. Position Summary:The Global Revenue Management position within ByteDance's Finance function is pivotal in overseeing the accurate monetization of all ByteDance products. Responsible for managing the Order to Cash ("OTC") cycle and ensuring precision in revenue accounting, this role collaborates closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations teams to optimize processes and maintain compliance. With a focus on contract review, billing support, payment allocation, and continuous improvement initiatives, the Global Revenue Management professional plays a crucial role in sustaining ByteDance's financial integrity and operational efficiency.- Contract Review: Review and approve business contracts to assess their revenue accounting impact.- Billing Support: Assist in the monthly billing process by ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, including approving credit notes, uploading to customer portals, and addressing billing-related issues.- Payment Allocation: Monitor and allocate incoming payments to open invoices.- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Foster effective partnerships with Sales, Sales Operations, and Finance departments, proposing system optimization requirements in response to business developments.- Helpdesk Management: Manage helpdesk tickets for internal queries and optimize self-help documents to enhance support scalability.- Revenue Analysis: Review un-invoiced revenue, conduct root-cause analysis to troubleshoot errors, and address inefficiencies.- Project Support: Assist in ad-hoc projects, including process and system improvement initiatives, as well as internal audit reviews.- Collaboration with Collections and Credit Teams: Work closely with Collections and Credit teams to ensure efficient Order-to-Cash (OTC) cycle operation and mitigate bad debt risk.- Product Collaboration: Collaborate with internal product managers to enhance internal billing tools, including drafting product requirement documents (PRDs) and participating in alpha/beta testing before launch.- Policy Documentation: Develop and maintain documents to ensure internal stakeholders understand billing processes and policies. Qualifications Minimum: - Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting and Finance related discipline.- Experience and familiarity with the Middle-East region.- Sound judgement in complex financial situations and sharp professional sense in identifying financial risks and non-compliance.- Good analytical skills and logical thinking ability, great sense of responsibility, good work habits, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.- High level of integrity and discretion to handle confidential information.Preferred:- Strong Finance background and big 4 audit or billing experience in the subject matter of OTC processes preferred- Ideal candidates would have prior experience with high risk clients and digital media advertising agencies.TikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
