Job DescriptionIntroductionThe J.P. Morgan Financial Institutions Trade Sales team is a dynamic client-focused department that prioritizes growth and serving large, high-demand clients. We provide some of the world’s oldest financial products such as Documentary Letters of Credit, Draft Discounting, and Trade Loans, while also offering custom solutions through innovative digital methods to address our clients’ liquidity, risk mitigation, and working capital needs.Job SummaryAs Financial Institutions Trade Sales Associate In Global Trade Services the role offers the opportunity for the candidate to enhance their core Trade skills and sales abilities while also acquiring valuable experience about the Global Trade finance. The associate will be required to work closely with Trade risk, Credit, assets distribution desk along with Financial Institution group team. This role is based in Dubai – United Arab Emirates (UAE)Job ResponsibilitiesCapable of effectively managing diverse stakeholders across various Trade Sales work streams.Contribute to the development of the Trade strategy for the Central Easter Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEEMEA) region, which includes market analysis and competitors, in alignment with the global Trade Finance strategy. Identify and suggest new opportunities for extending Trade products, to support sales processes and client coverage in collaboration with the FIG team. Coordinate with the distribution team on the adequate sell down strategy for a particular transaction based on the wider T&WC strategy.Work closely with the Core Trade Product team on new products approvals in jurisdictions where opportunities have been identified. Develop, analyse, and provide support for trade MIS functions in the CEEMEA region, with a focus on volume, revenue, and rebates for specific product segments. Prepare updates on sales activities for internal and external client use along with credit committees writeups.Operate as part of a regional team with minimal supervision and be responsible for transaction pricing strategies, in addition to Credit lines management. Required Qualifications, Capabilities And SkillsA detailed understanding of the Core trade products & able to demonstrate the relevant level of industry experienceRelevant Trade experience in Central Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa and understand the market dynamics across the region. Credit Course Certificate from an international institution is a plus. Proficient analytical, Sales and presentation skills, as well as project management and strategic planning abilities. Interpersonal skills are essential for maintaining close working partnerships with Product, Customer Service, and Product Delivery managers to guarantee satisfactory customer experiences and profitable products. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities And SkillsBeing multilingual is an advantage, preferably French language . A Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent qualification is required. About UsJ.P.
