Job Description
- Lead advanced maintenance strategies (TPM, 5’S) for optimal plant efficiency.
- Conduct safety audits and ensure compliance with standards.
- Mentor and guide the team's daily operations.
- Manage spare parts inventory and optimize spare parts inventory for minimal downtime. and utilizing MRP.
- Follow up on the critical spare parts for the highly utilized equipment.
- Oversee root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and execute mechanical maintenance plans (PM, PdM), and follow up on compliance.
- Develop, implement, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) in order to fulfill maintenance departments, business needs, and company plans.
- Develop and manage the mechanical maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Collaborate with the maintenance manager on overall departmental strategy and initiatives.
- Develop and conduct training programs for the mechanical maintenance team.
- Lead the mechanical team for continuous improvement and project implementation.
- Establish and maintain relationships with equipment vendors for technical support and efficient procurement.
- Analyze equipment failure trends and implement solutions with the collaboration planning section.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for production and maintenance activities.
- Identify alternative spare parts of the same quality to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration to drive continuous improvement.
Job Requirements
- Proven leadership experience (6+ years) in mechanical maintenance within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of advanced maintenance methodologies, safety protocols, and compliance standards.
- excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, AutoCAD, and MS Office.
- Strong project management skills.
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems relevant to feed mill operations.
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues in industrial machinery.
- Familiarity with quality control procedures related to feed production.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team to achieve maintenance excellence.
